resting in space

most of my new program friends departed yesterday, leaving just a couple of us and the retreat center staff. it feels empty. there are two new programs that have arrived, but without the connection to those participants i’m left resting in space. i have spent some time bonding with the staff, and we rented a couple movies and relaxed together yesterday. but i keep missing the familiar laughs of various people i came to know and love.
