why is the night so long?
playing an escapade for you: (link)
three questions for ya
- what do you do with the pieces of a broken heart?
- and how can a man like me remain in the light?
- and if life is really as short as they say then why is the night so long?

The pieces of a broken heart make music and art.
Staying in the light will make you tired after a while, then we are grateful for the dark (ask anyone who lives in Iceland.)
Damn boy it’s summer and these nights are short, but just wait until winter, what comes around goes around.
And if the broken heart and the long nights and the dark weren’t available to us this sweet video and steel guitar song would probably not exist.
What sea are you going to sail, mountain are you are going to climb and what old man are you going to meet to tell you what I know you already know?

what do you do with the pieces of a broken heart?–hold them gently in your hands and rock them, sing to them gently, keep them warm.
and how can a man like me remain in the light?–by using small tea lights and befriending the darkness.
and if life is really as short as they say then why is the night so long?–so that we can make love in it.
