History
Please request a resume or a phone call if you'd like to discuss my background in more detail.
2005 to Present
I have been consulting to companies primarily in Silicon Valley with a variety of user experience and interaction requirements.
2000 to 2005
Before that, I spent three years at Mirra. I designed most of the Mirra Personal Server client and web service user interfaces, and I engineered much of the initial web service in Java. That product lives on as the Maxtor Central Axis services. Before Mirra I managed a software team at ONI Systems.
1991 to 2000
Working at Apple Computer, I developed an appreciation for best practice design. I developed human interface components, system software, and lead technical decisions for system software releases like Mac OS 8.1 and 7.6.1.
1990 to 1991
Before Apple, I worked at Exos developing haptic interface devices, ultimately sold to Microsoft and included in the Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro Joystick product.
Misc
I completed a degree in Applied Mathematics from MIT, with a concentration in Cognitive Science. I also completed a post-graduate series at Stanford in decision analysis. I have four awarded US Patents.
